Choosing the right venue to host your engagement party can be a bit overwhelming. With so many amazing engagement party venues in Sydney it can be hard to decide.
Do you want a harbour or water view from your engagement party venue or do you want a touch of the country/rural or even a more industrial styled engagement venue. Sooo many choices to choose from.
To help you out with your engagement venue decision making, we have compiled a list of our favourite venues. We were aiming for a top ten venue list but only came up with 8 so far. The 8 engagement party venues we chose to list are all located in or around Sydney, they all have multiple spaces or locations with the added bonus of being able to host your wedding also to achieve a consistent style across all your wedding events. Most importantly the 8 engagement party venues we have chosen are all amazing to work with and don’t have hidden charges (fee to dim the lights) like some venues. You will notice we do like Sydney Harbour venues… But who doesn’t…
1. Luna Park
With one of the best views around, perfect harbours views of both the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge you can’t go wrong. So many engagement party and wedding and event options here, whether you want to have a park experience and enjoy all the rides or have a private function @ the Palais and relax with a few drinks on the outdoor harbour balcony Luna Park is a GREAT choice for your engagement party venue.
Speaking of stunning water views… positioned on Iron Cove Bay if you choose Haberfield Rowers as your engagement party venue you will not be disappointed. With a stunning outdoor deck that is right on the bay it is the perfect lunch or dinner engagement party venue. P.S. make sure you are there to see the sunset.
3. 12 Micron
Another great Sydney Harbour sunset engagement venue. Located in Sydney’s newest precinct Barangaroo 12 Micron is an engagement party venue that is perfect for a degustation dinner in a private dining room. After your amazing dinner hang out and enjoy the view with a few drinks or get out and explore the amazing precinct of Barangaroo. Plenty of bars to choose from.
4. Pier One
Another great Sydney Harbour Engagement Party Venue! I can see pattern evolving. Pier One Sydney Harbour has plenty of options to choose from for your engagement party whether you are after a private dining or cocktail experience. If you want an indoors setting choose either the Dawes Point rooms or the Private Dining Room and then open up the doors and chill out outside for a cocktail or three at The Pier.
Located near Terrey Hills the view from the balcony is stunning! Over looking the amazing golf course you have views of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by natural bushland it is a nice and quiet engagement party venue location. Perfect for cocktail and sit down dinner engagement parties.
6. Bivianos Dural
Situated in the stunning suburb of Dural with picturesque surrounds Bivianos is an amazing fine dining experience with perfectly landscaped gardens. Great for lunch and High Teas
7. The Grounds of Alexandria
Right in the heart of Alexandria, wow how that area has changed, the Grounds has a multitude of spaces for you to choose from to host your engagement party. This engagement party venue has spaces for both cocktail and private dining. Watch out for Hidden fees for Ceiling Installs though from AV.
8. Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel
I’m sure you have all done the day trip to Watsons Bay via the ferry. Another harbour view, this one has an added bonus, you can actually get your feet wet here. Perfect for private dining and cocktail and great on sunset, don’t miss that! Grab a drink and just sit there.. the perfect engagement party venue.
